We attempted to hold the February meeting as scheduled but did not have the minimum number of attendees to conduct a formal meeting. Recent volume of snow and extreme temperatures have limited access for some.
Those in attendance discussed ways to increase outreach and membership of the Iraq and Afghanistan Marines. A number of ideas were raised that will be further explored.
Advanced planning for the golf tournament is underway. It is a good idea to start reaching out to merchants and others for adverting and raffle prizes. This is a major fundraising effort for us and the help of all is needed.
Registration for the June Massachusetts State MCL Department Convention is in progress. Sign up sheets will be available at the March meeting. The convention will be in Hyannis.
We will meet again on 17 March. We are looking forward to strong participation.
